I just got off the telephone with a person that called me after he saw me blog and Facebook fan page and he was frustrated and was asking for advice.

First of all, I felt his pain as we have all gone through or are presently going through the pain of succeeding at home. He told me about all the programs and M.LMs he had been in and that he tried this and that. He mentioned a couple of Guru programs and the poor guy was frustrated at his next to zero results.

After a few minutes, I knew his problem and how to fix it…

I told him there are 2 things that matter more to your success then anything else.

a. Marketing

B. Mindset

I advised him that we can always work on finding effective marketing and there are lots of ways to approach this to fit all budget levels. There is effective online and offline stuff.

Also, mindset is what was really holding him back. His attitude was not in the best place, he felt people had taken advantage of him and even though he was a nice guy…he had a “victim mentality”.

I told him he had to work on his self esteem, start reading books, listening to audios and that in my opinion, success would be difficult at best of he didn’t focus on this and get it right.

Sad thing…he had a good attitude with me but he didn’t “get it” and is looking for the secret or the magic bullet to riches from home. Guys, it doesn’t work like that.

Is your mindset right?

Are you working on this daily?

Do you have a coach, mentor or friend that is holding you accountable?

Are you really committed to succeed?

MINDSET is the key to better marketing, more sales, great success…

See you at the TOP!

Internet marketing is not always easy to understand if you are a beginner. There are a lot of things to learn about online marketing to the point that sometimes you might feel overwhelmed or confused. This article will look at some of the early processes required for you to start marketing either your own or someone else’s products or services online. Once you know the basics, everything really does become much clearer.

The first step with your online marketing business is to set-up a website or blog using squarespace.com for example where you can sell both your own products and services or someone else’s (commonly known as affiliate marketing). This will be your starting point and the central point of your business. Your website should contain all relevant information about your business as well as your products and services. If you can, set up the website so you can capture customer data such as name and email address by using an auto responder such as Get Response.

The second step is to start optimising your website for the search engines. This strategy is called SEO, or Search Engine Optimisation. Practising SEO means your website will get a higher ranking with the search engines allowing people who are looking for your products or services to find them. You will find that there are many strategies out there for SEO that can make it seem complicated. However broken down, SEO really only depends on three things, link building, keywords, and quality content.

Keywords are the words that people enter into the search engines such as Google, when they are looking for something. To learn more about popular keywords that are relevant to your business, try the Keyword Tools from Google. It is also very important that you include relevant keywords in strategic places on your blog or website. Places where you should insert the keywords are the first paragraph of the page, the content, the header, title, and subtitle.

You have to fill your website with high quality and relevant content for the search engines to rank you effectively. To do this you can write your own content and articles or you can hire freelancers to write them for you using fiverr.com for example. Make sure that the articles are useful with the right keyword placement. Avoid keyword stuffing or using too many keywords in an article or page or Google will penalise you.

SEO is an on-going process. You should always tweak and improve your SEO strategy over time. Some people hire professionals to optimise their websites such as IneedHits.com, which can be done cost effectively.

Online advertising is part of any internet marketing strategy once you have set up your blog or website. To do this effectively you need to get noticed otherwise your site and products will simply be buried amongst everyone else’s. You can find numerous cost effective places online where you can place your ads such as Ad Land. It all really depends on your target customers and your budget.

Some people find social networking sites very helpful to promote their business. These sites are also free to use, unless you place ads on their sites. You do need to invest time and money to make any strategy work, but with a little patience a significant income can be earned online.

EBay is a great place to find almost any item that you can imagine. Jewelry wholesale auctions are quite common on eBay, and in many cases, you cannot beat the deals that are offered here. However, there are also many con artists that operate through eBay, and you have to use caution.

Start by reviewing all of the details about the jewelry wholesale auctions that you are interested in buying. If you still have questions, send those questions to the seller through eBay’s site. Make sure that you keep all of your contact information with the seller through the site so that there is proof.

Check out the person that is offering the jewelry wholesale. Look at their ratings and their positive feedback. Has there been any negative feedback? If so, you may want to reconsider your options and look into other jewelry wholesale auctions. If the feedback is all positive, and the seller’s rating is high, doing business with them should not be a problem for you.

Make sure that you are clear about shipment costs and the shipment time frame, as well as the payment options offered. Usually, the buyer is responsible for the shipment costs, and this is added to the total and paid before the item ships. In the case of high ticket items, insurance may be required on the item as well. The seller seldom pays the shipping costs.

If the jewelry wholesale is a high ticket item, such as jewelry that is bought in bulk or rare pieces of expensive jewelry, you should strongly consider using the escrow service that is recommended by eBay. If the seller recommends any escrow service other than the one that eBay recommends, you might not want to do business with this seller – it could be a scam.

Beware of sniper’s on eBay! Sniping is against the rules at eBay, but unfortunately people do it anyway. Sniping is basically automatic bidding, which is not against the rules, but the software or service is instructed to place the highest bid in the last possible minute of the auction. This leaves no time for anyone else to place a higher bid.

Instead of sniping, place your first bid at the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for the jewelry wholesale lot. Each time the bid is raised, your bid will automatically be raised until your limit is reached. This is not sniping, and it is a perfectly legal way to bid on auctions at eBay.

For a while now you have been reading about people who have been able to make money online and quit their full-time jobs. You now want to become one of those people. Where should you start? The best place to start is by taking the steps to build a responsive email marketing list. Regardless of the type of online business you ultimately decide to run, you need a solid customer base. This is why building an email marketing list is so important to anyone who wants to make money online.

Often times I see a heavy focus on the part of new internet marketers to get traffic to their website. While traffic is important, the fact of the matter is that most buyers do not make an impulse decision to purchase. In fact, statistics show that it generally takes at least seven contacts with a company for a buyer to ultimately make a decision to purchase. Therefore, it is important that you website or blog not only provide its visitors with a means to provide their name and email address, but also a reason. Think about this. It is widely believed in internet marketing that every subscriber on your email list essentially adds up to you earning $1 per month. Therefore if your email list have 10,000 subscribers, you should earn $10,000 per month.

Now how do you go about building a list? Well, there are a few methods. For instance, one method includes placing a clearly visible signup form on your website or blog. Another method which I prefer, is using a float in drop box. Essentially, the drop box takes center stage, and makes it impossible for your visitor to ignore the signup form. To see an example, click on the link at the end of this article. There is no way that you can miss that, right? This way, visitors can be compelled to provide you with their names and email addresses in order to receive a free eBook, newsletter, software, etc.

A good thing to practice, is letting your visitors know that if they provide you with their email address, you will not be sharing it with anyone else. Your visitors need to know that they can trust that they will only receive what they are signing up for.

Remember that while the size of your list is important, the quality of your list is of the greatest importance. You want your list to be responsive when pitch something to them. Many people focus too much on growing a big list. Some of these people go as far as to purchase email lists from companies in the business of providing so-called targeted leads. If you decide to go that route, make sure that you know that the company is reputable. There are so many companies who get away with providing junk leads.

Nonetheless, I do not agree with purchasing targeted leads or email lists. Keep in mind that your list becomes responsive because its subscribers get to know and trust you. This relationship is not built when a company hands off a bunch of emails to a stranger. The people who are able to make money online with their list have done so by building their email list via conventional means. You should follow this lead.

So you have been considering doing this for months, but today, you made the final decision to take action to work from home. You have a good idea of the home business which you would like to launch, however, you still have not come up with a domain name for your website. My advice is that you put a lot of thought into your domain name. We will discuss this further below.

In the your Internet age, there has been a good amount of debate on which factors are the most important when determining what domain to purchase. However, the consensus is that choosing a domain name should be deeply tied to the business plan and the vision of your home business. A domain can be chosen for it’s advantages in search engine placement, your company’s brand, or as a description of a general term. You will need to take into account a domain name’s length, pronunciation, memorability, and if the name is taken in other similar forms or extensions. For example, if one registers yourdomain.net, but the yourdomain.com is taken and developed, creating a brand for yourdomain.net would be very dangerous, and might end up being confused for its .com counterpart.

Below, we will examine three of the dominant rationals which have been utilized in domain selection.

1) Domains For Search Engine Placement

Not surprisingly, this strategy involves selecting a domain name which contains a keyword. Having this keyword in the domain will make it easier for your website to rank for the keyword in the search engines. The problem is that these sorts are domains make it virtually impossible to brand your business. Therefore, they are essentially used to direct traffic to a main website. Hence, a business which sells pink footballs would benefit from the snatching up both pink-footballs.com and pinkfootballs.com. There are two reasons for this. First, these domain names are really easy to remember, and second, whoever owns these domains will most likely rank numbers one and two in the search engines for the term “pink footballs”.

2) Domains For Branding

When moving from the offline office, to the online work from home setting, the conventional mode of thought is that you should take the offline brand name and attach a .com or a .country onto the end. Country extensions are taken advantage of in regions of the world where there is more interest in the website in the specific country, as opposed to worldwide. In the event that you did not have a brand prior to considering an online business, you have the opportunity to be imaginative when coming up with your domain name. Just remember that there are literally millions of domains which have been registered prior to yours. Therefore, expect a few of the domains which you have come up with to be already taken. Nonetheless, the common school of thought among the experts, is that shorter domains are more desirable. The ideal length is five letters for branding purposes. However, you have to make sure that the domain can be spoken as well. For example, ltttm.com is not a good domain name because it is both difficult to say and remember.

3) Domain Names Composed of General Terms

In the height of the (dot) com boom, general term domains were the most popular choice. When the (dot) com bubble burst, many companies failed despite the fact that they had the generic word for their market. Companies like TheKnot.com, refused to purchase Weddings.com, because they were well aware of the fact that they needed to focus on brand. Although this strategy worked for TheKnot.com, generic words have a value of their own which cannot be ignored. Similar to “Search Engine Placement Domains”, which attract a large number of visitors through search engine referrals, so do generic word domains. For this reason, generic word names are still very much desired, and their value continues to rise. What should be taken from the (dot) com collapse, is that generic domains are not everything in a (dot) com business. Rather, they are a valuable component in an array of variables which make an Internet business a success.

Therefore, before you put your plan to work from home with your home business into motion, be certain to spend an ample amount of time selecting your domain name. Take what you have learned today, and decide what works best for your online business.

In order to profitably Work From Home it is best that you have your own website for your Home Business. However, be certain to think long and hard when choosing your domain. Also, visit us at SOSComplete.com
